Conflict of interest arrangements for senior tax official who moved to a Big Four firm
Dear Australian Taxation Office,
In the ATO Commissioner's column 5 June 2017 (https://www.righttoknow.org.au/request/c...), the ATO Commissioner says:
"With almost 14 years in the ATO, and close to 24 years in the APS, Jonathan made a significant contribution to the tax system and the ATO, particularly as a technical leader
in the Tax Counsel Network in the most senior tax counsel roles. He chaired the General Anti-Avoidance Rules and Ruling Panels and was part of the recent ground-breaking
and significant e-commerce cases and legislative projects such as the new Part IVA, Transfer Pricing, the Multinational Anti-Avoidance Law and Diverted Profits Tax."
Please provide documents describing conflict of interest arrangements for Jonathan Woodger moving from his senior ATO job to a corresponding job at PwC.
Yours faithfully,
