Dear Gayle Carey,
Your attachment cannot be downloaded or opened. Please send a file that can be opened. I don't understand why an additional form needs to be filled out in order for the council to meet my requested information.
Yours sincerely,
Cameron Chapman
Dear Mr Chapman
I again attach the Formal Access Application Form. It is a standard PDF document. I am unsure why you cannot open it.
Please email me your postal address so I can send you a paper copy of the form.
When we receive the completed form and payment of the application fee, your request for information will be processed in accordance with the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009.
For your information only, please see below link to Access to Information page on Council's website.

Dear Gayle Carey,
Can you confirm how long it will take to collate the requested information or provide a maximum amount that l would be required to pay. $30/hour for an unlimited duration is too much.
Yours sincerely,
Cameron Chapman

Dear Mr Cameron
When a Formal Access Application is lodged and the $30 application fee is paid, Council determines whether the Application is valid and issues an acknowledgment letter to the Applicant. At that time, Council would advise the Applicant whether processing fees will be charged and the amount of those fees. It is then up to the Applicant to decide whether they wish to pay the fees and proceed with the Application, or otherwise.
The information you requested in your email dated 26 February 2017 is quite broad and it is possible that processing fees would apply to an Application seeking that information, however until a Formal Access Application is lodged, we are unable to advise the amount of processing fees. Without consulting with other Council officers involved in access the information, I'm estimating 4 - 6 hours of processing time, but this is a rough estimate and Council will not be bound by providing this estimate - it is provided as a courtesy only in an effort to assist you.
Under the Government Information (Public Access) Act, Government Agencies are required to provide the information to the Applicant within 20 working days after the agency receives the Application. Please note that if processing fees apply, the 20 working days commences from the date of payment of the advance deposit, which is 50% of the processing fees.
For example, if a valid Application is received and Council acknowledges the Application and also advises the Applicant of the amount of the processing fees payable on, say, Friday 7 April, then the advance deposit (50% of the processing fees) is paid on Monday 10 April 2017, the 20 working days commences from Monday 10 April.
Regards, Gayle
