Clarification on the reasoning for the name change of the body

We're waiting for Samoda Silva to read a recent response and update the status.

Dear South Australian Multicultural and Ethnic Affairs Commission,

I write to seek further clarification on the reasoning behind the shift from the 'Multicultural and Ethnic Affairs Commission' to the 'Multicultural Commision'.

This request is purely so I can be more informed about the change in the language of diversity in South Australia, as it seems that SA is the only state that has made changes on this level (including the rebrand of the 'Ethnic Schools Board' to 'Community Languages SA'). There is limited public information about the reason behind this change, with the only brief explanation I could find coming from Hansard.

I emphasise, this is personally for my own learning and interest, and does not reflect a disagreement or criticism of the change. As a result, this request is not urgent or high-priority.

Yours faithfully,
Samoda Silva.
