Census 2016 planning and agency response
Dear Australian Bureau of Statistics,
I request the following documents:
1. Documents which outline the expected demand of the 2016 Census system and related infrastructure during the Census period.
2. Documents which detail testing of relevant systems in the leadup to the Census.
3. Any internal ABS or IT contractor concerns raised in relation to expected performance, or lackthereof, of the Census system on Census night.
4. All reports generated in response to public feedback with regard to the Census, which were sent to members of the ABS Executive Leadership group.

I refer to your application in which you seek access to documents under
the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (ABS reference FOI 201617/18)
regarding:
o Documents which outline the expected demand of the 2016 Census system
and related infrastructure during the Census period.
o Documents which detail testing of relevant systems in the leadup to
the Census.
o Any internal ABS or IT contractor concerns raised in relation to
expected performance, or lackthereof, of the Census system on Census
night.
o All reports generated in response to public feedback with regard to
the Census, which were sent to members of the ABS Executive Leadership
group.
Your request was received by the ABS on 10 August 2016 and the 30 days
statutory period for processing your request commenced from that date. If
this request will take longer than 30 days to process, we will contact you
to negotiate an extension of time.
You will be notified of any charges in accordance with the Freedom of
Information (Fees and Charges) Regulations, should they apply, in relation
to your request as soon as practicable.

Can I please see all documents such as minutes, reports (or similar) put to the ABS Executive Leadership Group, or created in response to meetings of the Leadership Group, between 1 March 2016 and 19 August 2016.
Any information in those documents not related to the Census may be omitted from the scope of this request.
Please contact me if there is anything I can do to assist the department process this request in an efficient manner.
