Glenn Hamiltonshire

Dear Australian Institute of Marine Science,

This is a Freedom of Information Request for the purposes of the Freedom of Information Act 1982.

I request access to the Style Guides/Brand Guides/Writing Guides currently used for the Australian Institute of Marine Science,

Given the upcoming holiday period for the APS (happy holidays to you reading this), I forecast my consent for any required 30 day extension to deal with the request at this time.

Yours faithfully,

Glenn Hamiltonshire

Sharon Lawlor, Australian Institute of Marine Science

Dear Mr Hamiltonshire,

Thank you for your Freedom of Information Request for the purposes of the Freedom of Information Act 1982, received by AIMS on 25 November 2024.

I have been liaising with the relevant staff internally about providing our "Style Guides/Brand Guides/Writing Guides...", as requested.

I understand from those discussions that AIMS is willing to provide the document, but wanted to see whether you would give your approval for AIMS to provide you with this information under administrative access rather than the FOI process?

This would enable us to provide you the relevant documents through a simpler and quicker process.

If you agree, can you please confirm in writing (by return email is fine) that you withdraw the FOI application, and we will arrange to send you the relevant document via administrative access.

If you would like to discuss this, please pass on your phone number and I will contact you directly.

Thank you and kind regards,

Sharon Lawlor
