2020 Suicide Prevention Grants

1) A list of organisations that applied for the 2020 Suicide Prevention Grants and the amount each organisation applied for.
2) A list of organisations recommended by the Department for funding.
3) Any grant guidelines for the 2020 Suicide Prevention Grants.
4) Any project monitoring or evaluation plans for the 2020 Suicide Prevention Grants.

Dear Mr Williams,
I am contacting you with regard to your request for information, submitted
via email on 19 July 2020, and seeking to access government information
held with NT Health.
Your application will be managed in accordance with the provisions of the
Information Act 2002 (the Act) and section 18 of the Act sets out how an
application may be made. Section 18(2A) of the Act provides that:
· The application is to be accompanied by the application fee.
As your request does not relate to personal information, a $30.00
application fee is applicable. Payment of these fee can be made by cheque
payable to the Receiver of Territory Monies (RTM) and sent to the
Information and Privacy Unit, Department of Health, PO Box 40596 Casuarina
NT 0811. Alternatively, you may contact the RTM on 08 8999 1606 and make a
direct payment quoting cost code: 701078 166311 and reference number
FOI2020/207.
Section 18(3) of the Act requires that:
· Before accepting an application, a public sector organisation
must satisfy itself as to the identity of the applicant.
Please provide this office with a copy of an identification document. This
document does not require certification and may be provided via email to
[1][email address].
Section 18(2)(d) of the Act requires that an application:
· Specify an address to which correspondence regarding the
application may be sent to the applicant.
I note that you have not specified whether you are satisfied with
receiving future correspondence and records, where relevant, via email.
Could you kindly confirm that the email address from which you have
submitted your request is the email address that you wish to have all
future correspondence directed to.
In addition to the above, I note that section 12 of the Act provides that
access rights, and therefore the FOI process, do not apply to publicly
available material. In considering the scope of your request, I note that
information has already been published through Northern Territory
Government websites with regard to the 2020 Suicide Prevention Grants, and
this information may satisfy your request in part. If so, I kindly request
that you amend the terms of your request accordingly.
Please be advised that I will hold your application open for 30 days from
today, pending receipt of further information, documentation and payment.
