I refer to your request for access to documents under the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (FOI Act), dated 29 February 2016, regarding whooping cough mortality rates from 1900 to 1965.

Could you please clarify whether you are seeking access to documents that contain statistics and any correspondence between health officials and/or patients on whooping cough mortality rates at the time of 1900 to 1965 or current documents that contain such information.

Until such time as you provide clarification of your request, the Department of Health is unable to process your request.
