Traffic Infringement Detailed Report for Upper Hunter, NSW 2010-2017
Dear NSW Police Force,
I am hereby requesting information to be provided under the Freedom of Information Act in relation to traffic infringements issued by NSW Police in the Hunter Valley; namely by the Hunter Valley LAC or any other police area command recruited to this area.
1. Time frame required: Jun 2012 - Jun 2017 (inclusive)
2. Data format: electronic CSV flatfile.
3. Required data fields:
a) Penalty Notice Number
b) Offence Date / Time
c) Offence Locations
d) Speed Traveled
e) Speed Limit
f) Direction of Travel
g) Vehicle Registration
h) Demerit Points
i) Police officer ID
j) Police officer primary LAC
As the overarching state department responsible, please ensure this information is forwarded to the correct department and responded to in line with the Freedom of Information guidelines.
Should some of this information not be able to be provided, please provide reasonable justification, and alternatives to allow relevance/usefulness of data to be maintained.
Due to financial hardship, i am appealing under The Freedom of Information Act for this information to be provided without incurring the usual fee.

to submit a completed 'Formal access' application under the Government
Information Public Access (GIPA) Act.
Please find attached forms to be completed including credit card authority
form for the required payment of $30.00.
