Two IC Review decisions worth noting: Searching PM diaries is clearly in the spirit and letter of the FOI Act (in Australia and around the world) http://www.oaic.gov.au/images/documents/... but the content of the entries that are found that relate to being the leader of a political party rather than the operation of the government may be exempt under the current law (whereas they are disclosed in other countries) http://www.oaic.gov.au/images/documents/...
Dear Mr Callaghan,
I apologise for the delay in responding to your request.
The Department of the House of Representatives does not have access to nor hold records of the diary details of members of parliament, including the Prime Minister. Accordingly, the department is not able to provide the advice requested.
You may also be interested to know that the department is not subject to the Freedom of Information Act 1982.
Yours sincerely

This department is probably not responsible for this information, I'd say it would be https://www.righttoknow.org.au/body/prim... but they'll probably help you transfer it anyway.
