Roads condition

The Weddin Local Government Area has been impacted by a number of wet
weather events and Natural Disaster declared events. When a Natural
Disaster event is declared, this means we will do emergency repairs and
apply to the NSW Government for funding to do the subsequent repairs and
reconstructions.  In the instance that your service request is about a
road condition, this has been passed onto our Infrastructure Team.  Our
Team will go out and undertake an inspection and assess the condition of
the road and follow up with any necessary actions.  For example, we may
decide to close a road due to its condition, do emergency repairs and/or
put this onto our program for future works.  We are trying the best that
we can do with our limited resources including staff and funding.  Due to
the volume of requests Council is currently  receiving we may not be able
to individually respond back to you, however please note that if you are
receiving this response, it has been passed on for action.

Other customer service requests

Requests relating to Council’s operations will be submitted to the
appropriate team for action. When we receive your requests, our Records
Team also transfers this into our customer service request system. You may
hear Council staff refer to this as our “green forms” process. Due to the
