Yours faithfully,

Dear Mr Bhoola
I refer to your question about the taxes levied on international air flights.
Please be informed that the subject-matter of your email is not something dealt with by the International Air Services Commission (IASC).
The IASC's role is limited to assessing applications by Australian carriers proposing to operate, or are operating, scheduled international air service transport between Australia and a point overseas. After such assessment, the IASC makes a decision to issue (or not) capacity allocation to Australian carriers.
The work of the IASC, all applications received, determinations and decisions issued are available to the public on the Commission's website: www.iasc.gov.au.
Kind regards
