Specialists trained, each specialty, 2017, 18, 19 by states

John Smith made this Freedom of Information request to Department of Health

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

Department of Health did not have the information requested.

Dear Department of Health,

I seek the following information;

The number of medical specialists that have successfully completed their training courses; run by the specialist Australian medical colleges. I seek this information for the 17/18, 18/19, and 19/20 financial years.

I would like that information provided on a state-by-state basis; as in I would like to know the amount of specialists being trained in each state for each speciality.

For example, the dataset would tell me how many Dermatologists have completed their training in WA, SA (and all the other states), for each of those three years. (In addition to all of the other medical specialties)

I am making this as an FOI request as the publicly provided tool to access this data, hosted by your department, appears to be unusable for the purpose of obtaining the data that I am seeking.

Yours faithfully,

John Smith

Additionally, I seek a document that contains the amount spent on labour
hire staff procured throughout your department, for the 19/20 financial

2020.

to the request for extension of time?

In addition, unless you advise otherwise, duplicate documents and
Commonwealth employee names and contact details below Senior Executive

Dear FOI,

The links you have provided do not provide documents that contain the specific information that I am looking for. I have already searched through those links before.

Additionally, the online data tool is not usable for retrieving the data I have requested. That is why I have decided to pursue this through an FOI request.

Please continue with my FOI request, unless you are able to point me toward a specific document containing the information that I have requested.

You may exclude the 19/20 year as that data has not yet been collected.

Yours sincerely,

John Smith
