Good morning Marcus

Thank you for your email to the Freedom of Information (FOI) team at the
Department of Social Services (the Department). I understand from your
email that you are making a request under the Freedom of Information Act
1982  for documents relating to the social housing development at 515-517
Ross River Road, Cranbrook , Queensland.

As social or public housing is managed at the state government level, the
documents you are seeking are more likely to be held by the Queensland
Department of Housing, Local Government, Planning and Public Works.

Due to this, it is highly unlikely that the documents you are seeking are
held by the Department, and we are likely to refuse the request as the
documents sought are not in our possession.

We recommend making a Right to Information (RTI) request to the Queensland
Department of Housing, Local Government, Planning and Public Works for
these documents.  Information on how to make a RTI request can be found
[1]here on their website.  

As we are likely to refuse the request, can you please advise by Wednesday
18 September if you are agreeable to withdraw your FOI request to the
Department.
