Dear John Drewett,
Regarding the fee I would be seeking “the fee waiver” anyhow. Is Mr Mckenzie claiming that The Department of Land, Water, and Planning would have the information I seek?
Does The State Electricity Commision store or collate any information about private companies such as Jemena that would fit within the scope of my request? If not are you able to point me to the exact body, organisation, or authority for my request?
Yours sincerely,
Ken McLeod
Ken
Since its disaggregation in 1993 the SECV has had no involvement in either the distribution or marketing of electricity. As a consequence it doesn't receive, store or collate any information about distribution company activities that would fit within the scope of your inquiry.
Mr McKenzie's letter made a suggestion in relation to the Department of Environment, Land. Water and Planning that you might wish to make a preliminary inquiry as to whether they hold records of the type you are seeking, or if they can suggest if there is another agency that should be contacted.
Kind regards
John Drewett
