Salmon Industry funding to UTAS
Dear Department of Agriculture and Water Resources,
For 4 years now I have sought information on whether the salmon industry provides funding in any form to the University of Tasmania.
The university's resident expert on salmon farming, Colin Buxton refuses to acknowledge my many requests as does the Minister responsible.
So called, Freedom of Information appears to be a farce in Tasmania....say nothing, and the request will die.
Any assistance, gladly accepted. Regards, Hugh McLean, ph [Mobile Number Removed]
Yours faithfully,
Hugh McLean
Dear Mr McLean,
I have liaised with the relevant areas of the department that I thought might have information on the topic you are seeking. The department does not hold this information. You may wish to contact the relevant state government body as I understand this is a state matter.
