Route plans and communications in regards to the construction of the Sydney Light Rail.
Dear Department of Infrastructure and Regional Development,
I am a student journalist at Macleay College, and under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 (GIPA Act), I request to see any
documentation regarding the route plans and/or alternate routes for
the completion of the Sydney light rail system in 2019.
Additionally, I would like to request any documented communication
between the NSW Government and the infrastructure company in-charge
of these developments.
Yours faithfully,
Fern McNulty.
Good afternoon Ms McNulty
Thank you for contacting the Department of Infrastructure and Regional Development regarding access to documents related to the Sydney light rail system. Please note this Department is a Commonwealth Department subject to the Freedom of Information Act 1982.

The documents you are seeking are not held by the Department of Infrastructure and Regional Development, as responsibility for the Sydney light rail system do not fall within the responsibilities of this Department.
You may wish to consider contacting the Department of Transport in NSW that may be able to assist you with your request. Information on making GIPA applications to that Department and can be found at the link below:
