Dear National Disability Insurance Agency, Latrobe Uni - Department of

, Authored by Dr Tiffani Howell

Dear foi,
Can you clarify as to the reasons why disclosure of my name to a 3rd party is relevant to simply advise what the NDIA iteself payed for the report issued .
Im not seeking the identity or any internal quotes the 3rd party provided the NDIA
the request is simply asking for the amount paid by NDIA .
please advise the bearing of name revelation to the 3rd party,
it seems unusual and not clear who the 3rd party is the information is to be shared with as the FOI relates only to costings and payment made by the NDIA to a contractor .
I note in relation to NDIA legal costings when engaging outside legal counsel , disclosure of name of person asking for the FOI request to the legal firm was never asked for in any historical FOI requests
it is unclear the relevance or bearing this request has on being able to provide the information
Yours sincerely,
scott dwyer
Dear Scott Dwyer
Thank your request for your email.
Given you have stated that you are seeking access to information that
‘relates only to costings and payment made by the NDIA ….’, can you
confirm your scope as:
“total dollar amounts paid to Latrobe University by the NDIA for the
report dated 7 August 2019 - ‘Key Terms For Animals in Disability
Assistance Roles’.
On this basis, I will treat any personal information of third party
persons (names and initials as examples) and any business sensitive
information, if captured in the documents, as irrelevant.
As I require your agreement in writing, and I note the documents are
currently in a form I can release today based on your agreement, please
respond at your earliest convenience, or before COB 5 August 2024.
Warm regards

Dear foi,
why would Latrobe University need redaction or name withheld, it is public knowledge the university was commissioned to do a report ? the report already identifies the authors of the report and if there was individual consulting fees paid to them I am happy for name redactions of individuals who got consulting fees, that seems a fair address of privacy of third party individuals
Yours sincerely,
scott dwyer
