Reported instances of bullying
Dear Department of Education and Communities NSW,
I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 1982.
I’m inquiring about the issue of bullying within Central West NSW specifically in schools in the Mudgee region and children under the age of 18, I would like to inquire about the following information.
1: Percentage of cases reported to police about severe bullying in schools in the Mid-Western Regional Council area within the last 24 months that were actually followed up, and some measure of action taken.
2: Percentage of cases reported to the police about severe bullying in NSW schools in the Mid-Western Regional Council area in the last 24 months that were not followed up and no action was taken.
3. A breakdown of cases of bullying reported to the school and/or department of education by students or parents, sorted by bullying type.
4. A breakdown of cases of bullying reported to the school and/or department of education by students or parents, sorted by school.
