Dear David

Thank you for your Freedom of Information (FOI) request dated 15 February
2025, which we received on 17 February 2025.

You requested the following:

“Please provide quotes, invoices, and related decision-making documents
for the construction of the Thomas Street South Reserve playground.”

We appreciate your request, but we are unable to process it at this time
due to the following reasons:

1. Application Fee

You haven’t yet paid the application fee of $32.66. To continue with your
request, please submit the payment via Council’s online form:
[1]https://www.bayside.vic.gov.au/council-a...
. Alternatively, you can make the payment in person at the Council’s
Corporate Centre.

Requesting a Fee Waiver or Reduction

If paying the application fee would cause you financial hardship, you can
request a fee waiver or reduction. To apply for this, please provide
supporting documents, such as a current concession or health care card, a
bank statement, or a statutory declaration explaining why paying the fee
would cause hardship. If you need help with this, feel free to reach out
to me.

2. Request For Clarification

Your request isn’t specific enough for us to identify the documents you
are asking for. For example, you’ve requested "quotes" related to the
construction of the playground. Since this was likely part of a larger
tender process, are you looking for the total cost of the play equipment,
or construction costs or something else? Similarly, when you mention
“decision-making documents,” are you referring to the council report
announcing the successful tender, or do you mean something different?

To help us process your request, it would be helpful if you could provide
more details about the information you need, so I can identify the
documents that would be helpful to you.

You may also find this guide from the Office of the Victorian Information
Commissioner useful: [2]OVIC Guide.

What You Need to Do

To move forward with your request, please: Pay the application fee or
provide proof of hardship; and clarify your request by providing more
details about the documents you need by 11 March 2025.

If we don’t hear from you by that date, we may have to close your request.
If that happens, you’ll need to submit a new request to access the
documents.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or need
further assistance including help identifying the documents to include in
your request.

Kind regards,

Perry
