Thank you for your email.

We regret the delay in notifying you of a decision in relation to your
Freedom of Information request made to the Office of the Prime Minister
(the PMO) (PMO reference: FOI/PMO/2021/052)

We hope to be in a position to provide you with the PMO’s decision
shortly.

Sections 54(1) and 54A(1) of the FOI Act provide that internal review is
not available in relation to decisions made by a minister or their office.
In addition, section 54E(b) of the FOI Act provides that internal review
is not available if the original decision is a deemed decision, that is,
the decision was not notified to the FOI applicant within the required
timeframe.

You may however contact the Office of the Australian Information
Commissioner directly if you wish to apply for an Information Commissioner
review.

Once again, we regret this delay and hope to be in a position to provide
you with a decision shortly.
