Prior approval for keeping horses in residential area at 14 Liverpool St Murrurundi
Dear Upper Hunter Shire Council,
in regard to 14 Liverpool St, Murrurundi, numerous horses are kept on this block, in a residential street, which generates odours, flies and vermin. I understand from your own laws that the keeping of horses in residential areas is not permitted. Your office has advised that it is due to a previous exception approval from the now defunct Murrurundi Shire. I assume there is documentation to support this, and would like to view it please.
If there is no such supporting evidence, I would request that the council takes immediate steps to end this, for the comfort and wellbeing of all surrounding residents.
