PMO communication with Animal Activists
Dear Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet,
I request a copy of any communication between staff in the Prime Minister's Office and the Australian Alliance for Animals or any other animal activist group from 27 February 2023 - Sunday 5 March 2023.
This includes any material relating to announcement of the panel on live sheep export phase out, announced on 3 March 2023.
For the avoidance of doubt, I am seeking all written communication regardless of whether by email, letter, SMS, Signal, Whatsapp or other format.

The current due date for a decision on your request is 17 April 2023.
Processing of your request continues, unfortunately the Prime Minister’s
Office is not currently in a position to finalise the decision by this
date.
Accordingly, we are seeking your agreement under section 15AA of the FOI
Act to extend the processing period by 14 days. This will ensure
sufficient time to finalise a decision on access. This additional time
would extend the due date for a decision on your request to Monday 1 May
2023. We will endeavour to notify you of the decision prior to this
