Past DAs for 51 Myall Street, Concord West (1981-86, 1996-2005)

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, City of Canada Bay should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear City of Canada Bay,

I am currently investigating the history of a house on 51 Myall Street, Concord West as part of my job as a heritage consultant and have noted that there were two alteration works in recent decades based on aerial photos I could find. One was between 1981-1986, and the other was between 1996-2005, and both showed what look like tiled roofs being extended toward the rear.

I would like to view a copy of all development applications submitted within the above years, together with their outcomes, for the property in question. I am aware of Canada Bay Council's DA tracking website tool, however it only covers DAs submitted/determined within the previous month and does not provide me with information regarding historical DAs.

Yours faithfully,
Hisashi Nakahara

Dear The City of Canada Bay,

Hi, I had a look at the form, but I'd like to know the outcome difference between a formal vs informal application? I would like some basic information about the works being carried out - I probably will not need to view plans - and I'd like some clarification in type of request I should make.

Yours sincerely,
Hisashi Nakahara
