Organisational chart
Dear Australian Public Service Commission,
FOI request
This request is made for the purposes of the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (Cth).
Subject to what is noted below, please provide the requested document to me by return email.
Context
An agency must publish the details of the structure of the agency's organisation (for example, in the form of an organisational chart): FOI Act 1982 (Cth), s 8(2)(b).
An agency must ensure that information published by the agency under the Information Publication Scheme part of the FOI Act is accurate, up-to-date and complete: FOI Act 1982 (Cth), s 8B.
The APSC's organisational chart was last updated on 30 September 2024. There have been changes in the APSC that are not accurately reflected in the APSC's organisational chart. For example, Matthew Bowd was appointed Assistant Commissioner for Executive Remuneration and Statutory Offices (see Public Service Gazette PS2 of 2025 - 16 January 2025 (OC-127975)), but Mr Bowd's appointment is not reflected in the public organisational chart published on the APSC's website.
The APSC has failed to maintain accurate, up-to-date and complete details of the structure of the agency's organisation, contrary to the obligations set out in the FOI Act 1982 (Cth)
FOI request
Under the FOI Act 1982 (Cth), I request access to the most up-to-date, accurate and complete copy of the APSC's organisational chart (i.e. one superseding the 30 Sep 2024 org chart published on the APSC's website).
You are welcome to provide the requested document to me, IN FULL, in the next 30 days by way of administrative access, but I will not retract my FOI request unless the requested document is provided to me IN FULL within 30 days.
Yours faithfully,
GIPAgoomar
