Dear Department of Veterans' Affairs,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of Department of Veterans' Affairs's handling of my FOI request 'Open Arms staffing levels'.
Under righttoknow this is the only option I can use to make further contact with you.
The issue is there seems to be a large addition error to part 3 of your response, i.e. the percentages only add up to 59.5% and not 100%
I ask that you re-issue your reponse to this request to reflect the correct percentages.
A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.righttoknow.org.au/request/o...

Alan ASHMORE

Good afternoon Mr Ashmore,
How the original FOI request was worded, the response provided did meet
the scope of your request, as there are additional functions being
performed by Open Arms staff which did not fall into the 3 categories you
stipulated in your request. And as such did not equal 100%.
However, I have interpreted that you are seeking a complete breakdown of
staff and their functions within Open Arms, and have asked them to provide
the complete table with percentages of staff attributed to each job
family. We are happy to release to you administratively. See below:
ACTUAL JOB FAMILY Count of Employee (%)
Accounting and Finance 0.22%
Administration 14.25%
Communications and Marketing 8.99%
Monitoring and Audit 0.22%
Portfolio/Program/Project Management 15.57%
Science and health (majority frontline counsellors) 51.10%
Senior Executive 0.22%
Service Delivery 9.43%
TOTAL 100.00%
I am hoping that the provision of this complete information will satisfy
your request, and that you may be agreeable to withdrawing the below
internal review?
Happy to discuss further if required.
Kind regards
