Dear Department of Home Affairs,
I am writing to respectfully request a statistics of offshore applicants' visa refual rates from January 2023 to Feburary 2024. Please kindly regard the below specifics for my data request.
1) Data browing period: January 2023 to Feburary 2024
2) Offshore applicants' visa refusal rates in total and each subclasses' refusal rates that include but are not limited to the followings:
- Visitor visas (subclass 600, subclass 651)
- Studying and training visas (subclass 500 and subclass 407)
- Working and skilled visas (subclass 186, subclass 187, subclass 188, subclass
188, subclass 189, subclass 190, subclass 191, subclass 400, subclass 482, subclass 489, subclass 491, subclass 494)
3) May I ask if it is possible to request offshore visa refusal rates by the applicants' nationality?
I understand even if some or all of the information that I requested cannot b provided to public, and I would appreciate it if you can provide anything best you can.

Charge for access
The Department has calculated that a charge of $150.00 is required for
your request.

Financial hardship
If you believe that paying the charge for access would result in financial
hardship to you, you can request a waiver or reduction of the charge.

leave you unable to provide food, accommodation, clothing, medical
treatment, education or other necessities for yourself or your family, or
other people for whom you are responsible.
Your request for a waiver or reduction of charge will be considered, and a

Release of requested information
We will try to finalise your request within 30 business days of receiving
your payment. If we need to contact you regarding the clarity or size of

Migration Act 1958. If we cannot release the requested data due to
restrictions under legislation, we will notify you in writing. If we
cannot provide any data at all the Department will refund the amount you
have paid.
