Number of reduced Adelaide metro bus services between 2018 and 2023
Dear SA Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure,
Since early this year there is a noticeable reduction in bus frequencies at many routes including the Obahn, however, there is no clear data on how many routes have been affected and what is reduction in frequencies of buses as compared to pre-Covid times.
From last year there has been nearly 16% hike in rates (considering the cost of a 28 day metro pass), and interestingly, there has been a reduction in services. So the commuter is now paying more for a poorer service!
Kindly provide the below details for Adelaide metro bus services
1. Number of yearly route changes since 2018 - 2023.
2. Number of route disruptions (delays/cancellations/missed).
3. Number increased bus stops, routes.
4. Number of yearly complaints received from commuters.
Yours faithfully,
Ajmal Dalwai
