Dear James Adams,
Administrative Access Proposal - FOI request No (10) 22/23-1
I refer to your FOI request below received by the National Disability
Insurance Agency (NDIA) on 13 September 2022 and transferred to us at the
NDIS Commission on 15 September.
I invite you to consider having this request processed by way of
administrative release, outside of the FOI process. It is open to the
Commission to consider administrative access as an option to release
information outside of the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (FOI Act).
What this means for you is that the process is generally a lot quicker.
Your FOI request relates to information that is publicly available and
published on the NDIS Commission’s website ([1]List of registered
providers | NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission
(ndiscommission.gov.au). I note that the NDIS Commission’s website, for
practical reasons, shows 30 results per page and accept there are
currently thousands of registered NDIS providers. I can assist by
providing a complete and correct list of registered NDIS providers.
I have prepared a list that is correct as at 20 September 2022. I should
emphasise that the list can only be treated as correct as at the point in
time it was prepared. The publicly available register continues to be the
best source of information about currently registered NDIS providers.
We note that under administrative access arrangements you will not be able
to seek a review of the decision. Grateful if you could reply to the
proposal for administrative release and withdrawal of the FOI request by
26 September 2022.
Further information regarding the administrative release of documents is
available on the OAIC website [2]here.
If you have any clarifying questions, please direct them to me and I’ll
endeavour to assist.
Thank You,

Dear James Adams,
I refer to my previous email.
Please find attached the Registered Providers List. This list is only
correct as at 20 September 2022. The publicly available register remains
the only reliable source of current registered NDIS providers: [1]List of
registered providers | NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission
(ndiscommission.gov.au)
I confirm my proposal to release this document to you outside of the FOI
process.
Grateful if you could reply to the proposal for administrative release and
confirm, by reply email, withdrawal of your FOI request by 6 October 2022.
Thank You,
Linda.
