Dear NBN Co Limited,
Thankyou for your response
Please note for the public records I find the generic and typical response "of further classification" required for such a simple and obvious request after a period of more than 7 days a deliberate and lazy response . Official can be further defined as an Internal or NBN published Public facing sources (website) that define the term "N2P Evolution"
As such
Run a search on your corporate (NBN) network for the EXACT phrase "N2P evolution".
Run a search on Corporate Intranet for the phrase "N2P evolution"
Print a list of documents returned (in title) and present in spreadsheet format (CSV)
Title, File Path or Source, date, and search method used
Find an official (internal) source of the term "N2P evolution". Does it appear anywhere on the current public facing Website, and if so, when was it published (date)?
I am aware since making this Public FOI that one media source has defined it as "Node to Premises" . I am after a official (published or defined by NBNco, either internally or in the public domain)
This should be sufficient information to at least release a high level search result in under 4 hours.
Yours faithfully,
GPON

Dear GPON
Thank you again for your email sent 27 July 2021. This will require some
further clarification and I suggest that you call me to discuss the
parameters of your request as this would likely save time.
In your email, you request that nbn do the following:
Run a search on your corporate (NBN) network for the EXACT phrase "N2P
evolution".
Run a search on Corporate Intranet for the phrase "N2P evolution"
Print a list of documents returned (in title) and present in spreadsheet
format (CSV)
Title, File Path or Source, date, and search method used
Find an official (internal) source of the term "N2P evolution". Does it
appear anywhere on the current public facing Website, and if so, when was
it published (date)?
The FOI Act gives applicant the right to access documents that currently
exist. You seem to be requesting access to a document that does not yet
exist, being the results of searches you wish nbn to run, being:
Run a search on your corporate (NBN) network for the EXACT phrase "N2P
evolution".
Run a search on Corporate Intranet for the phrase "N2P evolution"
In addition, you seem to be requesting that nbn conduct searches of its
public facing website.
Could you please clarify if this is correct? If instead you are seeking
access to specific documents that already exist, could you please clarify
what these documents are.
In addition, if relevant for your clarified request for existing
documents, could you please clarify what you mean by “your corporate (NBN)
network” and what the distinction is between this and “Corporate
Intranet”. There are many systems used by nbn and it is unclear to me
which of these you mean. Perhaps you could limit your request to a
particular business unit, such as Corporate Affairs, or nbn’s Fixed Line
Build team. Please note however that documents that are in relation
to nbn’s “commercial activities” are not subject to the operation of the
FOI Act and would be exempt from release.
It may also help to specify a date range for your request. Searches for
documents dating to the start of nbn’s operations would likely take
significant time and may be a substantial and unreasonable diversion of
resources.
Processing of your request will not commence until the issues above have
been clarified. It may help if we could discuss the parameters of your
request in a phone call, and please feel free to contact me on my number
below.
