"As the host state for the Legal Profession Uniform Law (NSW), can you please provide copies of the NSW and VIC Law Council Minutes of meetings and details of the practitioners that were subject to any disciplinary action and or proceedings for the following time frames
2016-2017
2017-2018".
Yours faithfully,

Dear Cherie,
I refer to your email below which has been passed to me. You are seeking:
1. Copies of the NSW and VIC Law Council Minutes of Meetings; and,
2. Details of the practitioners that were subject to any
disciplinary action and or proceedings between 2016 and 2018.
In relation to item one of your request, the Victorian Legal Services
Board and Commissioner (‘VLSBC’) does not possess copies of the NSW and
VIC Law Council Minutes of meetings. You may wish to contact the [1]Law
Council directly.
In relation to item two of your request, I refer you to the VLSBC’s
[2]Register of Disciplinary Action which lists disciplinary action taken
against Australian lawyers.
I trust the above is satisfactory. You do however have the option of
making a Freedom of Information (‘FOI’) request pursuant to the Freedom of
Information Act 1982 (Vic). If you wish to make a Freedom of Information
request please do so in accordance with the explanation provided by the
FOI Commissioner and accessible [3]here.
If you have any questions or would like to discuss the matter, please
contact me on 9679 8000 or at [4][email address].
Regards,
Daniel Deeks
