Ministerial Documents regarding 'Freedom Foods' and 'Manus Island'

CD made this Freedom of Information request to Minister for Home Affairs

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

Minister for Home Affairs did not have the information requested.

Dear Minister for Immigration and Border Protection,

I write to you today under the Freedom of Information Act 1982 regarding access to any official documents of the Minister or Assistant Minister in relation to 'Freedom Foods' branded food products and the 'Manus Island' Mandatory Detention Centre, between the dates of 14/12/14 & 30/1/15.

I specifically seek copies of any written correspondence (such as emails) between the Minister's office and Transfield Services, the Contractor responsible for the Manus Island Mandatory Detention Centre.

I also request copies of any written correspondence (such as emails) that fall within the above scope which may have been sent to/from the Ministers office and other Ministerial offices such as the Minister for Defence and/or the Prime Minister's Office.

I make these requests under the FOI Act 1982 because of a report by the ABC entitled;

'Shipment of 'Freedom' brand muesli bars worth $30,000 rejected by Manus Island detention centre operators'

which can be accessed here: http://www.abc.net.au/news/2015-01-30/fr...

Yours faithfully,

CD

telephone numbers of SES staff, contained in documents that fall within
scope of an FOI request. If you require names and contact details of
