Dear Australian Broadcasting Corporation,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of Australian Broadcasting Corporation's handling of my FOI request 'Mediawatch Transgender Story'.
The reason for this request are as follows:
Two of the individuals in question (Kit Kowalski and Kat Karena) have publicly indicated that they communicated with Gabrielle Clark and/or another member of the Mediawatch team prior to the airing of the story in question. In particular, Kit has indicated that she provided information to the Mediawatch team over an extended period of time prior to the airing of this episode. Please see screenshots attached to this email.
It seems doubtful that no documents could be found to exist in relation to my request. I am concerned that not all reasonable steps were taken to identify and locate relevant documents. Please confirm whether communications between these individuals and email lists Clark were searched. Did the search include text messages, instant messages and emails?
Warm regards,
Peking Pamela
