Dear INFORMATION.ACCESS
Why does your department wait until almost the last minute of the last day before it seeks an extension of time. It then also puts the burden on the requesting party by stating that it must then respond within hours. It really is not appropriate.
This document has been released before, which means that FOI has already been determined against it, so not really sure why there needs to be any extension.
In this instance - extension is granted - but I would like you to set out by response, in the event that I say "no, extension is not granted", what is the outcome?
Yours sincerely,
Darren McAulay
