List of resumed properties for the logan faster rail project
Dear Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads,
I am seeking a list of properties that have and will be compulsorily acquired to make way for the Logan and Gold Coast faster rail project
Yours faithfully,
Katerina Mialkovsky
Thank you for your email to the Right to Information team at the
Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR).
If your email relates to making an application for access to information
under either the Right to Information Act 2009 (Qld) or the Information
Privacy Act 2009 (Qld), one of our team will respond within 10 business
days. Further details about Right to Information are available at [1]Right
to Information (Department of Transport and Main Roads) (tmr.qld.gov.au).
If you have an enquiry about CCTV footage from a TMR camera, you should
ensure you include the following information in your Right to Information

· Your contact details
· Description of incident/vehicles involved
· Date and time of incident
· Location including direction of travel
If you require your license history please go to - Licence and traffic
history | Transport and motoring | Queensland Government

Dear Ms Mialkovsky
I refer to your email dated 25 February 2025 seeking information relating
to the Logan Gold Coast Faster Rail (LGC) project.
The properties that have been gazetted for the LGC project are published
in the Government gazettes, accessible below:
[1]Queensland Government Gazette | For government | Queensland Government
If you require further information relating to the acquisition of
properties for this project, you will need to apply under the Right to
Information Act 2009 (RTI Act) which can be submitted online at the
following link:
[2]https://www.smartservice.qld.gov.au/serv....
Whilst the RTI Act is intended to provide a right of access to information
held by government, this right of access is subject to the grounds for
refusal which include public interest considerations. What this means is
that whilst the department meets the object of the RTI Act and provides
access to information/documents wherever possible, it does not guarantee
access to all or any parts of the relevant documents. Having consideration
to the information requested (excluding what is already published), it is
my preliminary view that documents held by the department relating to
future acquisitions may be refused from release on the basis that they
contain confidential information/deliberative in nature.
In addition, where an application will take more than five hours to
finalise, processing charges are applicable at the current rate of $8.65
per 15 minutes. Please note that the department will correspond with you
with an estimate of any applicable charges before finalising your
application.
Further general information about Right to Information is available on the
department's website
[3]http://www.tmr.qld.gov.au/About-us/Right... or on the
Queensland government website

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact this
office.
Kind regards
Helen Adcock
