List of Pot Holes
Dear The Hills Shire Council,
I am writing to request information on potholes on Council roads located in the suburbs of Rouse Hill, Nelson, Box Hill and Gables for the past 3 years.
Specifically, I request that the list/report include the following details:
1. A list of all pot holes, including their specific locations, of which council has become aware over the past 3 years (either through resident reporting, council inspections or otherwise). Please also include the date each pot hole came to council's attention.
2. Information on the current status of each pothole, that is:
a) those that have come to Council's attention but are yet to be addressed, as well as
b) those that have come to Council's attention and have been addressed/repaired by Council (including the date they were repaired and the extent of each repair).

Hi Dan,
I refer to your email of 5 August 2024 requesting information regarding
Potholes on Council roads located in the suburbs of Rouse Hill, Nelson,
Box Hill and Gables for the past 3 years.
This application is considered not valid due to the scope being so broad
and the impracticality of providing you all the data you have requested.
Council does not have this information readily available and would need to
spend a large amount of time collating it. As per Section 60(1)(a) of
the Government Information(Public Access) Act 2009 your request is refused
as dealing with the application would require an unreasonable and
substantial diversion of Council’s resources.
If you wish to change/narrow the scope of what you are after we may be
able to assist.
