Dear National Gallery of Australia,
Thank you for the information and documents.
But i notice that the main seeking document which is the
-Purchase agreement between NGA and the artist/artist's representative.
is not released.
I'm surprised because that's where you can see how public money is spent. and i see no reason under the rule of law why this document is not accessible.
Could you tell me which official I have to join to have these public document.
Yours faithfully,
Mathieu Briand
Good Afternoon Mr Briand

Good afternoon Mr Briand,
The National Gallery understands that you have tried to contact Ms Alison
Kubler, Chair of the Collections Committee, seeking information regarding
the approval process for the commission of Lindy Lee’s Ouroboros.
We note that you have requested the same information that you sought
access to under your recent Freedom of Information application. A decision
on this application was made on Friday 29 April 2022. We understand that
you have now sought an internal review of that decision, which is being
processed in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act.
Please note that Ms Kubler has no comment to make in regard to your
request. The relevant documents are owned and controlled by the National
Gallery.
Any further correspondence regarding this matter must be submitted to

Dear NGA,
I am surprised by your message.
First i didn t ask Ms Kubler the public documents you refused to deliver , i asked the cutural minister and it s public...
Second, we are in a free country and i am free to contact who i want for what i want. Peoples have the right to not answer or to refuse.
It would be easier to make all documents of this $14M project public than to hide them.
I just want to remind you that you are a PUBLIC service and not a private company and it s not a secret defense.
You are spending $14M of Public money on a project that you decided to commisssion by yourself with no competition or transparency or fair process.
And you don t want to give the bill to the public ??
And your are suprise that i am still looking for it ?
So yes i will continue to try to have answers to my questions.
This is it to be part of a community and caring for the community.
This is it to be a citizen.
Is this understandable ?
Yours sincerely
Mathieu Briand

Dear National Gallery of Australia,
I am asking you for the last time to release the budget of Ouroboros uncensored .
