The document I seek is a copy of a letter dated 30 January 2017 sent to Mr Greg Medcraft titled "Re: Consumer Protection Inquiry".

The first paragraph states:

"Reference is made to the Consumer protection in banking, insurance and financial sector inquiry being conducted by the Senate Economics Reference Committee".

ASIC appeared before this committee on 26 April 2017.
