KPMG almalgamation report and modelling
Dear Local Government, Office of - NSW,
Due to the proposed forced amalgamation of local governments, to be able to get the full facts on this issue I would like to review the KPMG report with the modelling outlining the proposed savings that back up the reasoning for the amalgamations taking place.
Yours faithfully,
Nathan Clarke

Dear Mr Clarke
Thank you for your email of 7 March 2016 to the Office of Local Government
about local government reform in NSW.
KPMG’s analysis and modelling of the merger proposals is entirely
contained within documents that are publicly available.
The Local Government Reform Merger Impacts and Analysis document was
prepared by KPMG on behalf of the NSW Government and provides an overview
of the benefits of the proposals. The Technical Report outlines the
assumptions made by KPMG when conducting its analysis and modelling.
The outcome of the analysis and modelling, and further details on each
merger proposal, are contained in the 35 individual proposal documents.
These documents are available at [2]www.councilboundaryreview.nsw.gov.au
I trust this information is of assistance.
Yours sincerely
Owen Cox
