department, seeking the following documents:

“Please provide the most recent regular internal report on performance of
FOI function e.g. timeliness of responses, notable cases or whatever else
that is regularly reported up to management about the FOI function in
Treasury.”

Your request was received by the department on 10 December 2017 and the 30
day statutory period for processing your request would ordinarily apply.
However, given the period covers Christmas and New Year and includes the
department’s shutdown,  we request an extension of time to process it. 

The 30 day period currently expires on 9 January 2018. We would be
grateful, however, if you could kindly agree to extend that deadline by 14
days.  Should you agree to our request, the new deadline will be 23
January 2018. 

We would be grateful for your response by 21 December 2017.

The department will advise you if a charge is payable to process your
request and the amount of any such charge as soon as possible.
