Dear Ms Barrie
The Federal Circuit Court has jurisdiction to hear family law matters and
general federal law matters.
The Court does not have jurisdiction in criminal matters.
You may need to clarify which state Court the proceedings were in and
contact them in respect of the material you are requesting.
Kind regards,
Customer Service

Hi Samantha,
Welcome to Right to Know!
Just a heads up, it is likely this request will be refused as a formal FOI request as you can only request "administrative material" from a court (see s.5 of the FOI Act - http://www.austlii.edu.au/au/legis/cth/c...)
That said, unless there is a secrecy provision (such as a court order barring publication, or a law which prevents the information from being disclosed) it is possible that the information you seek might be available (if the Federal Court dealt with the matter) outside of the FOI Act (Just because something is exempt under FOI, does not always mean that a document *can't* be released!)
Hope I've been of some help!
Ben
