Illegal Fireworks reports & council actions Bayside Council area

Currently waiting for a response from Bayside City Council (NSW), they should respond promptly and normally no later than (details).

Dear Bayside City Council

Please provide details of all reported illegal fireworks complaints and reports and what actions Bayside Council took regarding the complaints, reports and subsequent injuries and damage including those in Cook Park Botany Bay Foreshore and Tempe Reserve Fire NYE 2024/5 which caused over $1 million of damage, extensive emergency services costs, significant loss of native flora and fauna.

The illegal usage of fireworks in Bayside Council public parks and reserves and on the beaches has been ongoing, it is illegal it is dangerous and it requires more Bayside Council signage, more Council Ranger action and more Baysude Council preventative and investigation measures to catch the criminals and provide council CCTV to police.
