The Commonwealth Department of Health and Aged Care (department) has

(department) responded to your Freedom of Information request which was
received by the department on 8 June 2023 seeking access to:

In this email, we advised that a request for access to documents under the
FOI Act is limited to ‘a document of an agency’, which, for the purposes
of section 4 of the FOI Act, is a document in the possession of the
Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care. The Australian
Government Department of Health and Aged Care does not hold or collect
information in relation to medical records or clinical notes about
individuals from medical practitioners or allied health professionals, or
data relating to diagnoses of all medical or mental health conditions. The
business area in the department that deals with mental health has
confirmed that it does not possess documents or hold information relating
to the number of people diagnosed with parasitical delusion.
The state and territory health agencies may collect data about diagnoses
of medical and mental health conditions. In our previous email, we
provided links to the state and territory health agencies to assist you to
make a request to them for the information you seek. We provide them again
