Dear Mr Bates
Your below email query has been reviewed by the area concerned with employment matters within the Department of Health (the department).
It has been confirmed the department does not hold documents relevant to the queries.
Each of the health service providers (HSPs) within the WA health system are responsible for contracting and employing staff for the various hospitals within each HSP, e.g. North Metropolitan Health Service, South Metropolitan Health Service, etc.
It is confirmed that any jobs vacancies could be calculated by data publicly available on JobsWA where you can access both closed and open job advertisements - https://search.jobs.wa.gov.au/page.php?p...
It should also be noted that a request submitted under the Freedom of Information Act 1992, is a request for documents held by a government agency, and not simply to answer questions. In some instances, it may be possible to frame an appropriate FOI application scope from questions if there is data readily available which could answer a question, however this is not always the case.
Best regards

Dear DOH, FOI,
Thank you so much for your response this is very helpful - I am not from australia and really struggling to figure the healthcare system out! Are you able to direct me to where I can find a list of other Health service providers such as north metropolitan health service?
Yours sincerely,
Colin Bates
