Dear FOIUnit,
Please advise the following.
Under 12(1)(c) it does not stipulate a 'physical' address is required to be provided. A 'virtual' address could therefore be appropriate, and the virtual address I am providing is the one accessed through this website.
What does the $30 application fee cover, and how does charging this fee align with the stated Objects of the Act? I request that this fee be waived.
Yours sincerely,
Sean
Hello Sean
The $30 application fee is a legislated requirement and cannot be waived.
Please see attached information from the Office of the Information Commissioner on the requirements for a valid application.
Please note that until your application complies with section 12 of the FOI Act, your application remains an invalid application and it
cannot be processed by the agency.
Kind regards

Hello Sean
As we have had no response to our request, we have not been able to process this application.
If we do not receive the required information and payment to validate this application by 4.00pm today, we will have to close this file.
Kind regards
DPC FOI UNIT
Dear FOIUnit,
Alternatively you could point me to any website where the CHO publishes his Health Advice. This should not require me to pay a ridiculous $30 fee.Having to pay for information that is possibly already in the public domain is just nonsense.
Yours sincerely,
Sean
