Dear Risith,

Thank you for your message.

Following a machinery of government change, the Public Transport
Development Authority (trading as Public Transport Victoria or PTV)
transitioned into the Department of Transport on 1 July 2019. For further
information, please refer to the [1]Victoria Government Gazette and the
[2]Transport Legislation Amendment Act 2019 which came into effect on 1
January 2020. On 1 January 2023, the Department of Transport assumed
various planning functions and was renamed the [3]Department of Transport
and Planning.

Please note that a [4]FOI request under the Freedom of Information Act
1982 (Vic) (the FOI Act) entails an FOI application fee of $31.80.

You can lodge a FOI request using the [5]secure online FOI portal and pay
the statutory FOI application fee of $31.80 by credit card. Please select
the “Department of Transport and Planning” in the agency drop down field
to ensure your request is directed to the correct agency for processing.
The application fee may be waived if you are under financial hardship. You
will need to upload documentary evidence of financial hardship on the
portal in lieu of the application fee (eg a [6]pension concession card).
You are advised not to provide any personal ID information via the
Right-to-Know website as responses will be published on the Right-to-Know
website.

If you want to pay the FOI application fee by electronic funds transfer to
the Department of Transport and Planning, we can provide the relevant
banking details upon request.

Please note that access granted to the PTV Master Style Guide under the
FOI Act does not provide any express or implied permission to use or
reproduce the materials contained in the PTV Master Style Guide.

If you wish to use any of the designs in the PTV Master Style Guide for
public display, distribution, or dissemination, or for incorporation into
another publication or work, whether for a fee or not, then the
appropriate form of access would be through an Intellectual Property (IP)
licence.

Many thanks.

Regards,

Gavin
