Front setback for renovation where building setback is less than neighbouring setbacks
Dear Blacktown City Council,
I am writing to request clarification of the front setback requirement for renovations where my building's setback is less than those on the neighbouring sites.
Logic seems to dictate that the setback of the existing building should apply to the renovations, whereas my architect argues that the renovations have to be setback at the average of the neighbouring sites.
Yours faithfully,
Andrew Hicks
