Food safety inspections for the years 2014, 2015, 2016
Dear Local Council,
Can you please provide me with the number of food safety inspections carried out in your area annually, for the last three years?
How many warning were issued each year and how many fines each year?
What percentage of all food outlets did the council inspect each year?
Have any outlets been shut down for non-compliance and if so what for and how many?
What were the worst offences/biggest fines for each year?
Yours faithfully,
Nigel Gladstone

Mr Gladstone
I respond to your recent Request for Information relating to Council's food safety inspections for the years 2014 - 2016.
Please accept the responses to your questions, from Bayside Council, as both the City of Botany Bay and Rockdale Council, amalgamated. Therefore we respond as one Council.
Attached are food activity reports for Rockdale Council for the 3 years you requested. The City of Botany Bay is unable to provide a food activity report for 2014 due to IT difficulties at present.
We will forward this report to you when it becomes available.
Kind regards,
Gina Nobrega
