To the Department of Immigration and Citizenship,
Dear Sir/Madam,
Under the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (Cth) I request the following document:

Kind Regards,

Thanks Geordie,
Detention Logs is running a campaign to crowdsource FOI requests through this site.
I am new to this, but perhaps there is a way you can filter out the requests that don't interest you?
Sincerely,
JM

Thanks Jennifer, I'll contact the campaign organisers and see if there's a way this site can be usable for everyone and not just one crowdsourced activity.
Hopefully that doesn't involve people not associated with your campaign having to adjust settings to be able to use the service easily.

Hi there!
I wonder if you'd consider not making these types of requests through Right To Know. While I understand how important it is for you, or anyone, to investigate these matters with the deplorable way we deal with refugees, and while I trust getting information from the "Department's Compliance, Case Management, Detention and Settlement Portal." might be a way to do that, publicising every request you make through this site is making it harder to use it because each day as the concentration of these reports grows and other requests by other people to other government bodies become a minority that we have to go searching for. There's now 107 requests to DIAC, five of which aren't requests for these reports, and almost all of the front page of requests that I'd like to browse relate to them - indeed report requests like this one now make up almost half of the 230 currently open requests.
I'm just another site user and I can't make you agree to what I ask (nor would I if I could), but I wanted to let you know I think making these requests off-site would make it easier for others to use this interesting and valuable resource.
