Dear Australian Human Rights Commission,

Can you please provide me with a copy of the most recent FOI Delegations for the Commission?

Dear Mr Fairless,

Thank you for your email.

Agencies such as the Australian Human Rights Commission (the Commission)
are encouraged to deal with FOI Requests administratively where possible.
An administrative release of documents avoids the need to formally respond
through the FOI Act process, and thus can result in more prompt responses.

In answer to your request below, we have attached for you a copy of the
most recent FOI Authorisation form for the Commission.

Please note that President Croucher’s signature has been redacted.

In light of this administrative release, we ask you to please confirm
whether you are content to withdraw your FOI request.

Best regards,

Demitra Nikas she/her

Dear Demitra,

Thank you for your email and for treating this request administratively. I’m assuming this authorisation applies both to normal decisions as well as internal reviews. On that basis, I’m prepared to withdraw the formal FOI request.

Yours sincerely,

Ben Fairless
