I am writing to amend the scope of my FOI request to assist with its processing.
As I wish to access only recent charge decisions, I have introduced a time frame and clarified the exclusions. I confirm the revised scope of my request as follows:
1. The most recent 30 notices of charges issued to FOI applicants.
For each of these 30 requests, if applicable, please also provide:
2. Any subsequent decisions regarding charges following applicant contention.
3. Any subsequent decisions regarding charges following internal or external review.
The time period for my request is from 1 July 2022 to 1 October 2024.
Please exclude the following information:
i) Personal information of FOI applicants, including supporting evidence or details of personal circumstances in a financial hardship contention.
ii) Emails that attached the charges notices/decision letters.

We refer to your request received by the Department of Climate Change,
Energy, the Environment and Water on 1 October 2024 (and revised on 8
October 2024) for access to documents under the Freedom of Information Act
1982 (FOI Act) made in the following terms:

The FOI Act requires that you provide us with an address which we can send
notices to. You have advised your electronic address is

and correspondence to this address.
Please advise us as soon as possible if you wish correspondence to be sent
to another address or if your address changes. If you do not advise us of
changes to your address, correspondence and notices will continue to be
sent to the address specified above.

Dear FOI Officer,
Thank you for your prompt access to the requested information. You are the first to provide a decision on this request (out of 15 other agencies).
Can you please confirm that your preliminary charge notices and charge decisions are sent as documents attached to emails, or are some written as text in an email body?
I am asking as some agencies provide a charge decision as text in an email, instead of an attached document. These text decisions might not have been captured in the scope of my request.
